2018 KPB International Coastal Cleanup

Keep Pinellas Beautiful, in partnership with the Ocean Conservancy is excited to present the 2018 International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, October 20th, with additional events held throughout September and October. Every year, millions of tons of trash- including an estimated 8 million metric tons of plastic waste- flows into the ocean, entangling wildlife, polluting beaches, and costing coastal municipalities hundreds of millions oftaxpayer dollars. We need your help to put a stop to it!

This year we will have a wide selection of sites available throughout our county. We invite you to join us at one of these locations to help combat this issue before it impacts our local wildlife.

Note: Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes, sun protection, and weather appropriate clothing. Cleanup supplies and water will be provided.
